  • BOOC's mission is to empower BIPOC (Black, Indegiounous, People of Color) youth and young adults in Cook County, Illinois by dismantling negative societal influences and cultivating a safe space for personal growth, leadership development, and cultural connection. We utilize a holistic approach to address the specific challenges faced by this population, fostering improved mental health, academic success, and positive social engagement. BOOC, Inc. (Building Our Own Community) is proud to present a comprehensive, programmatic approach designed to empower and support African American youth (ages 18-38) in Cook County.
